Confidence limits for the reliability of systems of elements connected in series. (English. Russian original) Zbl 0646.62091

The problem of constructing guaranteed confidence limits for the probability of failure-free operation of a system with elements connected in series is considered. The failures of the elements are dependent and obey a Weibull-Gnedenko law with two unknown parameters. As original information, we use censored samples which are the results of tests of individual elements of a system prior to a specified number of failures.
