Analysis of repeated measures designs with changing covariates in clinical trials. (English) Zbl 0621.62104
Author’s abstract: In this paper, a multivariate model is proposed for analyzing repeated measures designs with changing or within-subject covariates. Under the assumption of multivariate normality the maximum likelihood estimators of the parameters are obtained and the likelihood ratio tests are derived for testing certain linear hypotheses. Furthermore, some special designs are discussed and a numerical example is given to illustrate the method for analyzing a two-period crossover design.
