On the properties of entropy rate in the entropy rate admissibility criterion. (English) Zbl 0617.76068
The entropy rate along singular lines (shocks, contact discontinuities, phase boundaries) associated with the system of conservation laws for one-dimensional flow of Van der Waals fluid in Lagrangian coordinates has been discussed.
