Electrogasdynamic effect on small perturbation development in the boundary layer on a thin airfoil. (English. Russian original) Zbl 0602.76067

Fluid Dyn. 21, 19-26 (1986); translation from Izv. Akad. Nauk SSSR, Mekh. Zhidk. Gaza 1986, No. 1, 25-33 (1986).
New, simple and economical methods of boundary layer control based on the use of electromagnetic forces are currently being sought. We examine the efficiency of the electrogasdynamic method of boundary layer laminarization in compressible gradient flows.
