The influence of cosmic rays on stability and large-scale dynamics of the interstellar medium. (Russian. English summary) Zbl 0593.76053
Summary: In the framework of the diffusion-convection description of the galactic cosmic rays, their influence on the stability and dynamics of the interstellar medium retained in equilibrium by gravitational field of the stars is considered. The dependence of the stability boundary and growth rate of MHD instability on the cosmic rays energy density and on their diffusion coefficient is investigated.
