Axisymmetrical forced vibration of a cylindrical shell with nonuniform thickness. (Chinese. English summary) Zbl 0567.73071

A convenient method for analyzing the forced vibration of a cylindrical shell with nonuniform thickness and under axisymmetrically excited conditions is presented. With the transfer matrices of shell segments and the correlation matrices of node lines derived under the action of inertial force, the variational principle can be extended easily for solving axisymmetrical dynamic problems.
