In the article the resonators are modeled by a system of discontinuous arcs in a plane and the radiation conditions are replaced by a more general condition which admits solutions increasing in the infinity. By the aid of Green’s theorem the problems are reduced to the study of singular integral equations and through the use of the analytical Fredholm theorem the discreteness of eigenfrequencies of open resonators is proved.
