Exceptional chamber systems for the alternating group \(A_ 7\). (English) Zbl 0544.51010

In this paper the authors give constructions for some of the exceptional chamber systems for \(A_ 7\). For example one for the chamber system whose diagram is the complete graph on seven points. Furthermore they give a very nice description of the geometry of type \(C_ 3\) using the 6-dimensional orthogonal space of type \(+\) over GF(2).
