The monograph generalizes earlier results of the authors and their colleagues in this field of mechanics of deformable bodies. In the first three chapters the main equations of the elasto-plastic shells (based on the theory of A. A. Il’yushin) and the equations of heat conduction are summarized. Axisymmetrical cases of elasto-plastic cylindrical, conical shells and also rotationally symmetric shells of general shape are studied in detail in the following 3 chapters. In chapter 7 the case of nonsymmetrical loading of rotationally symmetric shells is analysed and illustrated with numerous examples, while in the last chapter 8 only a finite difference approach is proposed for shells with general form without numerical results.
The nonlinear equations corresponding to this problem are solved using successive approximations, for the linearized equations the method of finite differences and the Runge-Kutta method is used. The presented numerical solutions clarify many complicated problems of the nonisothermal processes of loading. From the 172 references 166 are written in Russian.
