Edit warring

[edit]

I've blocked you for edit warring on Kurdistan and Iranian peoples, against User:69.196.139.250. This is a 24 hr block, slightly shorter than the 31 hours that Drini gave you, since that is how long I have blocked 69... for. When you return to editing, please discuss as a first option. -Splashtalk 21:27, 30 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Demographics

[edit]

The figure of 20,000-25,00 Kurds in the UK from Demographics of Kurdish people seems an astonishingly low estimate to me. Do you know where the Kurdish Institute got those figures from? Gerry Lynch 16:46, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately I do not know where they got those figures from. Some other figures also seem low estimate to mee too. Mesopotamia 16:52, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Persian people

[edit]

First off the picture of Khomeini has been debated on the talk page and we finally came up with a compromise - please don't change it. The other picture that you added can be found on the Tajiks page.

Persian = Farsi. Why don't you agree? --Khoikhoi 21:30, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have explained it on the discussion page of persian people. The article is quite one-sided.
I prefer to discuss this there, as there are many other people who may want to join the discussion.

My mistake

[edit]

Regarding your edit summary here. I'm sorry, I didn't notice that you had just put the disputed tag on. I just saw it as I was removing the fair use images... checked the talk. It was my mistake, although in the future you can help others avoid the same mistake by posting to the talk page first. --Gmaxwell 21:53, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your respond and explaination.

kurdish controversies

[edit]

hello about the kurdish peoples ... you're right about the number of deputies and most of the stuff should go into "Iraqi kurdistan" anyway. I have done some stuff on kurdish questions for the Norwegian wikipedia, without much comment I notice it's different here in the english writing world

  : -)
