Orlando Cabrera
[edit]Orlando Cabrera is NOT from Venezuela, he is from Colombia. So someone needs to change the flag next to his name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.54.155.15 (talk)
- It's already the Colombian flag. The flags of Colombia and Venezuela are very similar. Click on them to see how they're different. --Nlu (talk) 15:59, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
New roster format
[edit]I adopted the KC Royals Template or the LA Angels of Anaheim. Is this ok? Do I have anything to change? Are the colors good? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Aladdinlee (talk • contribs).
Someone demoted Kelvin Escobar instead of Erwin Santana. I'm changing it.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.41.246.185 (talk) 01:05, 21 July 2007
gary matthews
[edit]said player is not an infielder, but instead is an outfielder The Hemogoblin 22:59, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
- Fixed, also changing Chone Figgins from IF to OF, as long as he is serving as RF. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aladdinlee (talk • contribs) 00:54, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
- The Active Roster on the Angels website has him listed as an infielder so I moved him back. -- Gogo Dodo 05:25, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

I disagree about that. MLB lists him as a 3B, but he is known for being a very good utility player. So, bacause we don't have an "utility" category, I think he should be placed where he is now playing, the outfield (CF or RF). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aladdinlee (talk • contribs) 17:08, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
- Figgins plays lots of positions and is constantly changing, often from game to game or even inning to inning. Unless the roster is changed every game or every inning, it is not going to accurately reflect who is playing where at any one time. For example, if Willits starts as DH one day, is he listed as on OF or a DH? I think it's simpler to list Figgins and every else per the roster on the MLB site (with the exception of pitchers were the role is more clearly defined). -- Gogo Dodo 22:30, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
Vlad Guerrero
[edit]for the 07 ALDS, it's been documented from interviews with manager Mike Scioscia that Vlad will not play in the outfield and act soley as the DH. It may not say that on the mlb.com roster, but that's not a team's roster "bible"--in fact, mlb.com is frequently behind other sites in making roster adjustments. after the ALDS, whether the Angles go to the ALCS or not, he can then be moved. - Well, he played in RF during game 2 of the ALDS so keeping him in the OF section was the correct thing to do. While the MLB site may be behind in roster changes, it is still a better record of what is the official roster in my opinion. -- Gogo Dodo 22:34, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
