Hi, I will be completing an initial review within one week. -Riley1012 (talk) 19:18, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Good Article review progress box
Criteria: 1a. prose () 1b. MoS () 2a. ref layout () 2b. cites WP:RS () 2c. no WP:OR () 2d. no WP:CV ()
3a. broadness () 3b. focus () 4. neutral () 5. stable () 6a. free or tagged images () 6b. pics relevant ()
Note: this represents where the article stands relative to the Good Article criteria. Criteria marked are unassessed

1. Well-written

  • His father claimed that Gale frequently had difficulty accepting direction from his parents and teachers. Should be directions instead of direction
  • ...after Ibanez responded to Gale's online post regarding his idea for band. Add "a" before band

I went ahead and fixed the date format to mdy (since this is an American singer).

2. Verifiable

  • ...and a passionate supporter of the LGBT community in Dallas. What is the source for this?

Passes Earwig check. Spot check: 3, 9, 10, 13, 18, 20, 25, 26, 30 - no issues.

  • The two began to message each other through Myspace, discussing their similar musical interests. This sentence cites ref. 7, which does not mention Myspace or the messages.

3. Broad
I have no issues here- the article length is sufficient for someone whose life and career were relatively short. I initially thought some of the details in the Early life section were trivial, but they all connected to something mentioned later on.

4. Neutral
No concerns about neutrality.

5. Stable
No concerns about stability.

6. Illustrated
The images are free use, relevant, and have suitable captions.

@Kimikel: Well done, I only have a few suggestions. -Riley1012 (talk) 21:03, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the quick response. This looks good now, and I will pass it. -Riley1012 (talk) 22:11, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
