[edit]

As the first husband of to the first female vice president, Emhoff is the first second gentleman in American federal history. Ferretanto (talk) 20:23, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate.
The article already says that in the lede. RudolfRed (talk) 01:47, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Doug Emhoff’s entry still needs to be corrected!

[edit]

Doug Emhoff’s page STILL needs to be corrected by Wikipedia (since his page is protected and cannot be revised by registered subscribers)that states he is the first Jewish spouse of an American President! That citation is premature at this point (9-21-2024) and should be revised to read that he is the first Jewish spouse of an American VICE-PRESIDENT (only)! Thank you! Some sweet kid (talk) 23:01, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It says He is also the first Jewish spouse of an American president or vice president – Muboshgu (talk) 15:46, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Abuse Allegations

[edit]

Seems like some RS are talking about this: [1]. Should it be included? 2A04:CEC0:10FE:737E:205C:407E:FEB2:9A89 (talk) 15:43, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

WP:NYPOST is not RS. – Muboshgu (talk) 15:45, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It was reported in The Daily Mail too. Give it a few days and it will appear in "reliable" sources. Magnolia677 (talk) 17:17, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You mean the WP:DAILYMAIL? Most likely this will circulate in the right wing mediasphere for a week or so and won't be picked up by legitimate sources for good reason. – Muboshgu (talk) 17:26, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Like Hunter's laptop. Magnolia677 (talk) 17:58, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Would you prefer I come up with a list of every time the right wing mediasphere story was fully debunked? I don't have the time. A stopped clock is right twice a day, I suppose. (It still didn't prove the BS stories about the Bidens and Ukraine.)
Should this section even be allowed to stay here? It seems like a BLP violation to me. – Muboshgu (talk) 18:08, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
"It seems like a BLP violation to me." It hasn't even been added to the article. Jesus. It's a discussion about a story that is today's headline in the United State's third most popular newspaper, a newspaper started by one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. ABC has also reported on it [2].
