Colin William Gooddy (22 June 1933 – 13 April 2019) was an international motorcycle speedway rider for the England national speedway team.[1] He earned one international cap for the England national speedway team.[2]
Speedway career
[edit]Gooddy rode in the top tier of British Speedway from 1955-1977, riding for various clubs.[3][4]
He rode most of his domestic career for Oxford Cheetahs, becoming a heat leader for them and representing them in three separate spells from 1958 to 1960, 1962 to 1964 and from 1967 to 1972.[5][6]
Gooddy reached the final of the British Speedway Championship in 1965.[1][7]
