How can an artist get so close to actually nailing the appearance of the main aliens and one of the early dramatic scenes in the novel, yet still veer off at the last moment into the long grass of epic failure? They got a bare few of the unique features described in the text correct, then seem to have just improvised the rest even in opposition to what it said basically in the same descriptive paragraph. Weird.

Suppose you don't want to give the game away straight away, I guess, but the solution to that is surely something like the variant cover on my own copy which doesn't show them at all...? 209.93.141.17 (talk) 22:32, 11 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
