Motivation
[edit]I'm only just getting started using WikiData, so excuse any netiquette faux pas I've already committed (such as already creating the page in question before realising I needed to create a proposal first). I've got somewhere in the vicinity of 5000 registered Danish games that I'm currently adding identifiers to at The Royal Danish Library's video game archival/preservation efforts, and figured this would be a good time to add the primary Danish cataloguing database to WikiData and start adding identifiers. Discussion
[edit]- Comment Some of the entries listed under 'titles' does not look like video games. See light gun, PSU and modem for examples. @Duffadash:--Trade (talk) 20:09, 25 December 2020 (UTC)

- Comment @Duffadash: Thanks for this proposal! I added examples for an add-ons and a DLC.
As Trade noticed above, the database also seems to incorporate video game accessory (Q7927908), game controller (Q865422), computing platform (Q241317) − I added examples for these as well. Would that be okay with you? (interestingly, the database also supports platform-variants for controllers − see eg Arkanoid Controller (Q4791702) → arkanoid-controller/nes/famicom − but the plain ID arkanoid-controller does not resolve?) Jean-Fred (talk) 11:59, 12 January 2021 (UTC)- @Jean-Frédéric: Sounds good to me. I've updated it with your suggestions. Duffadash (talk) 11:27, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
- Support once all the things mentioned above are sorted out AntisocialRyan (talk) 18:15, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
- Support A good addition. Don’t think we had any VG databases in Danish yet :) Jean-Fred (talk) 12:10, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
