Log in to Twitch and watch any stream in the Sea of Thieves category to help increase the shared Community Emissary Grade and unlock progressively bigger boosts!
How to Take Part
By watching streams in Twitch’s Sea of Thieves category on Community Weekend, you can help to raise the combined Community Emissary Grade. Every time this shared Grade increases, it acts as a multiplier and all players can earn more gold, reputation, Seasonal Renown, Allegiance and Guild Reputation! Take it all the way up to Grade Five to enjoy rewards two-and-a-half times greater than usual. You must be logged in to Twitch to contribute to the Community Emissary Grade, so head over to twitch.tv to get started.
Watching eligible streams will also help you unlock Twitch Drops: the Stalwart Sea Dog Bucket, Stormy Sea Dog Shovel, Stalwart Sea Dog Concertina and Stormy Sea Dog Spyglass. If players can collectively complete an ambitious total number of World Events during Community Weekend, a special fifth Twitch Drop will also be unlocked: the Obsidian Captain’s Table! Keep an eye on your Twitch inventory to track how you’re doing.
As always, Twitch isn’t the only source of free cosmetics. Simply log in to Sea of Thieves during this Event to pick up the red-and-gold Season 13 Community Weekend Flag to decorate your crow’s nest, as well as the Shimmy Dance Emote.
Dig Spots
It’s back again! Throughout Community Weekend, Pop-Up Plunder will cause tantalising treasures to show up periodically on the map. You’ll see an in-game notification, but to find it you’ll need to unravel clues shared on Sea of Thieves’ social media channels. This time you might even find the Community Crate, a special Storage Crate packed with gold-worthy goodies to hand in to the Trading Companies.
You’ll want to hurry though, with only one prize per server which disappears after an hour if unclaimed! And watch your ship’s map, as once the treasure is uncovered, it’ll be pinpointed by a marker for other crews to pursue until it’s cashed in…
Picture Walls
Another player favourite returns once more: for the duration of Season 13 Community Weekend, special Picture Walls will be stationed at every Outpost for all your pirate selfie needs.
Each one is themed with the latest Community Weekend colours, and comes with its own grog barrel for maximum convenience when sharing a celebratory toast. Be sure to share your best Picture Wall crew snapshots with us!
Time-Limited Voyages
For the duration of Community Weekend, the ever-watchful Order of Souls are offering pirates a fixed number of Bounties for Flameheart’s Devout Captains!
Obsidian and Shadow Skeleton Captains have been spotted at Skeleton Camps across the Sea of Thieves, and the Order wants them taken down in exchange for valuable rewards. To embark on the hunt, check for Special Voyages on your ship’s Quest Table.
Pirate Emporium Sale
The Emporium shopkeepers aren’t about to miss out on the celebrations either: head to the nearest Outpost during Community Weekend to enjoy the Talk Like A Pirate Day Sale, offering great discounts a selection of popular ship sets, costumes, weapons, pets and emotes.
