Until yawn

News Bandai Namco Gives Man of Medan Owners a Free Friend's Pass to Celebrate Black Friday
Curator's Cut now also free
Man of Medan came out earlier this year, and one of its most interesting ideas is its social aspects. Linear horror games like this are normally built for just one player, but Supermassive Games embraced the notion of getting a whole room involved in the adventure. As it's the week of Black Friday, publisher Bandai Namco...

Man of Medan, the first instalment in Until Dawn developer Supermassive Games’ new interactive drama series The Dark Pictures Anthology, has a secret: it’s fully playable in online co-op – and it’s unexpectedly brilliant. The Guildford-based developer has somehow managed to keep its ambitious multiplayer mode under wraps, but...

Summertime spooks
Man of Medan, Supermassive Games' follow-up to Until Dawn, is looking pretty good, with a similarly decision-driven narrative and a creepy nautical setting. Publisher Bandai Namco has just announced the release date too, as well as introduced an incentive to pre-order. The game, which is the first part of the studio's Dark...
News Man of Medan Is the Until Dawn Sequel You've Been Dreaming Of
Under the sea
Who doesn’t love a good teenage slasher? In many ways, the outstanding Until Dawn out-Quantic Dreamed the actual Quantic Dream, so it’s hard not to get excited for Supermassive Games’ forthcoming Dark Pictures Anthology. First up is Man of Medan, a standalone supernatural horror set in the South Pacific.

Hands On Man of Medan Is a Return to Form for Until Dawn Dev
Ghost ship
Developer Supermassive Games has been treading water for far too long now. After its 2015 title Until Dawn became a bit of a cult hit that deserved a lot more love, it overloaded itself with PlayStation VR projects, most of which missed the mark by a big margin. The likes of Bravo Team and The Inpatient seem to be behind the studio now,...

It’s a fun, creepy story with a lot of walking around, investigating, and trying to steer clear of the baddies while keeping your friends alive. Decisions matter, and the psychiatrist storyteller guy likes to remind you of that. Sometimes the graphics look great, and sometimes they don’t. It’d give it a 7 out of 10. Worth the time, but keep the expectations in check.
Interested to see how the multiplayer happens. Also speaking about horror games, I could REALLY go for a Parasite Eve remake. Or at least a horror game with that level of action.
