  • Planned Features-Improvements

Here are my objectives for this project in updates after 2.0. These goals will focus on polishing all the races available in 2.0 and then focusing on the new remaining races that I'd like to add to this compendium of races. There likely will be added objectives to each race but I'd need more time to input what all is planned.

DISCLAIMERThis is the remaining list of races that will be worked on and created for this project after 2.0. While I may do more subraces down the line I'm no longer adding more races to this project. It is very unlikely that I'll be adding any other races aside from the ones listed below. When 2.0 hits there will be 73 races available to choose from and then I'll start polishing the current ones & making the new ones below.  I'm no longer tak...

  • FAQ

Can this be used in Multiplayer?
Yes. There isn't a single BG3 mod that can't be used in multiplayer. All players must have the same versions of mods and the same load order.

TIP: A player can send another player their modsettings.lsx, this can basically give other player's the same load order which can be sent after you set up the mods you wish to use for y'all playthrough. This will provide the correct load order and if launching BG3 Mod Manager will be informed if they are missing mods.
Is there an ETA on Updates/XYZ race?
I don't give ETA's typically because life happens and this is done with the free time I set aside to dedicate to the project.
    Is there an ETA Goblin?
When 2.0 is released Goblin will be public.

    Can you make ...

  • PLANNED PLAYABLE SPECIES (RACES)

This is the current full list of races that are planned to be done. Races that were available in 1.0 will be restored, reworked, and fixed first and then I will progress further by adding more races. I've listed the sourcebooks I'll be implementing so you are aware of what version of the species/lineage/race I'm working on.  Everything in this list is still being worked on and I will not stop working on this project until I've made them. The final version of this project will end once a total of 100 races are made.

What you are currently playing is the Beta version. You will see that the mod will undergo several improvements before I am satisfied.  Essentially once I feel something is deemed playable, I add a singular file for it so that players can play what is completed ...

    1: Technical Overview

    Fantastical Core
Fantastical Core contains general assets that are utilized by multiple race individual files. It is the foundation for all individual race files. It allows races to utilize universal cosmetics, and English Text for the Names, Descriptions, & Abilities. This file is the most important file to have installed before adding any individual race files.

Refusing to install this file for whatever reason will likely result in problems or you CTDing. Even if you are using a Translation to another language, you will need this file. Things FOUND inside Fantastical Core:

The English Localization file. (Display Names, Descriptions, Passive Information)

  • KNOWN ISSUES

These issues are known to me and I'll be working on fixes for them eventually, some sooner than later.

    Bugbear clips through armor.
This race is in Early Access thanks to my Patreon Supporters as it was one of the biggest requests I've gotten for an early release next to Kobold. This race mechanic works 100% but needs several cosmetic fixes before it's finalized.

I've made a patch that makes the body invisible so that you can instead wear armor that Strong Bodies use so long as you don't have skin showing it will fit the character into Strong Body armor. However, if you are wearing armor that would display any part of naked skin then that part will be invisible.  Your load order for the patch should be the following:

    NOTICE
You are unlikely to see the UI intended for this mod if you are using a controller when selecting the races that have selectable passives by default.  Currently, none of the UI-required mods add compatibility for this. So you need to unplug the controller, select them with mouse & keyboard, and then reconnect your controller to get around this. UI Displays differently for controllers & mouse and keyboard so this is why this happens.  Refusing to do so may cause you to miss out on a selectable trait, or "Choices Pending" which will prevent you from being able to move past the character creation screen.
