The #MidWinterSolace event got me into the habit of reading some non-fiction and drinking mint tea each night after my walk. Right now I‘m reading this book about koalas and loving it. Who knew the types of eucalyptus could be so interesting. 🐨

My sweet Saoirse on my lap, Enchantment is completed. I loved this book. I may have realized at moments i was hurrying and not as engaged and reminded myself the reading is also the experience. In slowing down at those times I found words and thoughts of value to me- that i would have otherwise missed. Glad this was the January buddy read for #midwintersolace

I read 20 books in January! I am surprised as I was both work busy & sick for part of it but I pushed through & finished my last 2 yesterday. I finished all of my buddy reads #ChloeGongReadalong #SundayBuddyRead #PemberLittens #JaneAdjacent ##NancyDrewBR #ChildrensClassicRead2024 #Naturalitsy #MidwinterSolace #SheSaid #SeasonalCozies & one #AuldLangSpine pick (although I am 1/2-way through another & #SeriesLove2024 one #Roll100 & my virtual ⬇️

DebinHawaii …foodie bookclub. I read 5 NF books which is a lot for me. 10 were library books, 1 audiobook, 2 ARCs & 3 Kindle Unlimited, 2 children‘s/YA books & a graphic novel.

There were a couple clunkers but I enjoyed most everything I read. Salt & Bone, The Madwomen‘s Ball, Kissing Kosher & Heartstopper Vol 5 were my faves for the month. 💙💙💙 9mo
