#3 SANDWICH
Best time of year for a sandwich. 🥪
100% pick. Since the sequel takes place mostly in space, there‘s less focus on events from the 1950s and 60s, but the way the characters relate to one another is the reminder. I especially liked seeing how the relationship between Elma and Parker developed. Now I need to buy this series because my library doesn‘t own #3 The Relentless Moon and book #4 comes out in 2025👩🏻🚀🚀
The village of Three Pines grows more dear with each book! In this one, the mystery that shrouds the whole series deepens as Gamache works to solve a death at a seance at the creepy Hadley Manor.
Book #3 of the Chief Inspector Gamache series is terrific! I listened to the audiobook version because it had a shorter wait. What a voice! Makes me want to try learning French. I guess I‘m in my Three Pines era now. 🌲🌲🌲
Last week, my score was at 0%. This week, it‘s at 7%. That‘s a little bit better.
My favorites from this list are:
1. The Shining (I won‘t watch it again but I‘ve read the book twice).
2. Titanic (I won‘t watch it again but I enjoyed it when I saw it the first time).
3. The Silence Of The Lambs (I won‘t watch it again but I want to read the book).

Like, Literally, Dude: Arguing for the Good in Bad English by Valerie Fridland
Book #3 of the series and it‘s really getting good now. A lot of Tom Janssen‘s personal life and background gets learned in this one. Along with a murder mystery to solve too.
Every once in awhile, I can read a good “detective” novel. Dr. Wren Muller‘s are good- but holy drop off for the ending! 😱 #3 will have to be coming!
