I recently started teaching myself low-code/no code. My decision was Bubble. I had so many options to start Flutterflow, Knack, Bubble and more. Ultimately, I chose Bubble for one factor they let you build your App before purchasing any services. As a beginner this is helpful, I have a family and full-time job I would have to sacrifice time from each of those to learn how to use one of the above-mentioned tools in their trial period. As a product manager I just wanted to shout out this aspect of Bubble I think having this as part of your growth strategy has been overlooked and really caters to new users. A seasoned No Code/Low Code pro might not have that same dilemma, but it certainly helped me. #lowcode #nocode #bubble

Punch 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱—𝘄𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿-𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁, 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿-𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗽𝗽. Building software is challenging, especially when it comes to the complexities of financial technology. But in the world of finance, nothing demands reliability more than a trading platform. The stakes are high, and the margin for error is zero. Developing Punch came with all the challenges you'd expect from a trading app. But what made this project truly exceptional was the timeline. We launched the first version in just 𝟮 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀—with only 𝟯 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀. Achieving this required seamless coordination between us, but teamwork alone wasn’t enough to keep us moving at this pace. Here’s how we managed: 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁-𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗧𝗗𝗗): Some argue that TDD slows down development, but for us, it was a key strength. TDD allowed us to move fast with confidence, ensuring our code was reliable from the start. 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: As our team grew and the codebase expanded, maintaining code quality became crucial. We used Detekt with custom linting rules to keep the code clean and scalable while ensuring adherence to TDD principles. 𝗖𝗜/𝗖𝗗: Speeding up development naturally leads to faster feature delivery. To capitalize on this, we set up automated app releases with every feature merge. This resulted in over 𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟰 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀—a testament to our commitment to continuous improvement. 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Moving fast can be risky, but our strong QA team had our back. With automation tests running for each release and a well-planned QA process, we ensured that every feature was bug-free before it reached users.I could go on about the journey, and there are plenty of stories to reflect upon. In my second year of college, I applied to over 200 internships, scouring every job board and submitting countless applications. I waited for months, hoping my inbox would eventually light up with interview invites. Surprisingly, when interviews did come through, I often didn't even recall applying for those positions. This chaotic and inefficient process highlighted a significant gap: I lacked an easy-to-use tool to track my applications with a click of a button. Managing passwords, company data, and application details in an Excel sheet, switching tabs constantly, became an overwhelming task. Moreover, many of my applications were rejected because my resume lacked relevant projects or my skill set was not adequately aligned with the job requirements. This added another layer of frustration, as I struggled to understand and address these gaps in my profile. Now, nearly two years later, I am proud to introduce a solution that addresses these very pain points—a comprehensive job tracking and practice platform. This platform is designed to streamline the application process, making it easier for aspiring professionals to stay organized and focused. It offers a user-friendly interface for tracking applications, storing relevant information, and practicing for interviews. Additionally, it provides resources to help users identify and develop the skills and projects needed to enhance their resumes, ultimately providing relief from the frustrations I experienced firsthand.
