Accessibility Tip of the Day 249: In the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), each success criterion has a link next to it that says "How to Meet [x]" (https://lnkd.in/gg5kREje). This page offers more info explaining what the success criterion means and provides examples of techniques you could use to meet the criterion. For example, Success Criterion 2.4.1 Bypass Blocks says "A mechanism is available to bypass blocks of content that are repeated on multiple Web pages." If you're wondering what that means or how you can handle this item correctly, you can click on the "How to Meet Bypass Blocks" link. The linked page clarifies that you can do things like the following: - add a skip link to the beginning of your page - add a skip link to the beginning of a block of content - add a table of contents with links to each section of the page - use ARIA landmarks to identify regions of a page - use semantic heading elements at the beginning of each section #accessibility #a11y #accessibilityTipOfTheDay
