Teenagers

This was actually nominated in the Academy Awards for Best Picture--back when there were only five slots and comedies rarely made the cut. It's about a teenager who gets pregnant and decides to have the child--but give it up for adoption. I thought all the relationships here--between Juno and her parents, boyfriend, the prospective adoptive parents--was so well done, and this went in directions I wasn't expected. The DVD was the gift of a friend who loved it and thought I'd feel the same. She was spot on. ( )

Great soundtrack. Good movie about adolescence. I enjoyed it and recommend it. ( )
