London spine poetry

Note the invite to participate in the poetry spine competition. I'd like to challenge London devotees , to write an ode to London using the spines. I plan to try this variant myself ... Should be fun. could we also post the photos within the group? you may find it strange but while I live in SAfrica I have a great collection of books on London and love the city. it had to be intermittently and as a visitor for short stretches but each visit I stay in a different location. My best location was in a penthouse flat in Picadilly circus overlooking Eros and quite fascinating to watch passing life at any time of the day or night and then observe rhythms and patterns. would love to do that again.... Also night time walks around the city.
