A beautiful one-woman play, autobiographical, about an African-American woman and her family. Includes five stories that cross the decades, including her own birth story, the first time she saw a burning cross, surviving a sexual assault, and more. I'd love to see this one performed live. ( )

hate her voice. she sounds like she's 50 with something stuck up her bum. or 10 saying aren't i just so special. i think her life was more boring than mine. i never knew i could tell people about it and win awards. OF COURSE I DON'T BOTHER. ( )
