Loading... Her Montana Man (edition 2008)by Cheryl St.John (Author)Eliza Jane Sutherland has been taking care of her dying sister for years. Her brother-in-law Royce has something on her and threatens to expose it if she doesn't marry him when his wife dies. This will give him complete control of her fathers business. Jonas Black owns the Saloon and the Hotel and provides jobs for people needing protecting. Eliza goes to him for help. This was a decent story with a great hero and a nasty villain, But the logic for why Eliza makes some decisions defies understanding. Too bad. I am a fan of Cheryl St John. The hero is a strong protector of womankind, our heroin is in need of very strong protection. Our villian is her brother-in-law, who tells her even before her sister is dead that they will be married, and she has no choice "I know your secrets" "you have no rights to your son". This is a very edgy book. |
