This is a very attractive book, and the Igbo proverbs were interesting, but otherwise I didn't get a lot out of it. To be fair, I am probably not the target audience of this book (and I got it from a subscription box, so it's not the kind of thing I would normally pick out), but even with my limited knowledge of the self-help genre, I didn't find it very helpful. It's all very well saying "have more self-confidence", "stop worrying about X", "don't be upset when people do Y", but then shouldn't you follow up these pronouncements with some more concrete advice or personal experiences?

Not for me. ( )
