- About My Library
The library at the Pennsylvania Military Museum is owned and administered by the Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission. The onsite library is maintained by a small, but dedicated group of staff and volunteers. We are a non-circulating research library so we do not check out books, but access and use of the library is free. Those interested in accessing the library are invited to contact the site with their research inquiry to schedule a mutually convenient time of visitation.

The Pennsylvania Military Museum is a community gathering place welcoming audiences of all abilities and backgrounds to gather and explore the story of the Commonwealth’s men and women serving in the Armed Forces, civilian activities on the home front, and Pennsylvania’s contributions to military innovation.
The Pennsylvania Military Museum is administered by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission and is actively supported by the Friends of the Pennsylvania Military Museum, which is a non-profit, community-based organization.
