About My Library
"In darkness, there can be light. In misery, there can be beauty. In death, there can be life...."

My library consists of independent readers, fantasy, horror, sci- fi, and all other sorts of random things. One thing about my library is that I do not own any novels that I haven't enjoyed reading. Assuming it's a book I've read lol.

An interesting tidbit: I do tend to judge books by their covers, when browsing. The cover art is as much an extension of the authors creative imagining as the book excerpt. I'm more likely to pick up the book if the cover creatively captures what I believe is an essential idea of the novel.

I love that LibraryThing has opened my library up to Early Reviewers so that I may be a vital part in the book creation/ publication process. My ARC collection expanded to include NetGalley reviews, thanks to ER, and it is a wonderful challenge!

In 2009, I read 59 books!

I read 26 novels in 2010

About Me

My name is Jasmine but some people on here call me Cue.

I recently got back to LT after many years away. My list of books read was small but I kept it in my to do tracker for the one day I would return. Turns out I had acquired many books more than anticipated over the years and apparently chose not to remove books from my library when I donated half of my books.

But now we're back in the swing of things. I'm currently overhauling my library. Checking what's in there. I need to update my wishlists too.

I can be frequently found hiking, gaming, weight lifting, etc. in my free time. Covid helped me explore the US a bit more and really ramp up my hiking passion. The cat in my picture is my childhood cat.
