About My Library
The Society maintains a research library at its Headquarters in Montross, Virginia (Westmoreland County). The collection includes about 2,000 books, periodicals and family files. Its annual magazine is titled "The Northern Neck of Virginia Historical Magazine."
About Me
The Northern Neck of Virginia Historical Society was formed in 1951 and includes the Virginia counties of Stafford, King George, Westmoreland, Richmond, Northumberland and Lancaster. NNVHS exists to celebrate and preserve the "Cradle of American Democracy," birthplace of three of the first five American Presidents.
