Will Smith (1) (1968–)

This was truly one of the best memoirs I've ever read in my life! I experienced so many emotions while following Will on his journey. I was moved by all the experiences and challenges he undertook as he tried to be the very best of the very best! I highly recommend this book! It's extremely well-written, and I loved listening to Will read it himself, especially during the many times you could hear him holding back a laugh or just smiling as he read. He also included several songs and even a clip or two from a show. He really provided a RICH audio experience for the reader!!! Just finished "Will" by Will Smith and Mark Manson... all I have to say is if you are a Will Smith you will enjoy this book but in my personal opinion read the book but also check out the unabridged audiobook. It is really good. Some parts he felt a bit preachy but it's Will Smith, he can be preachy all he wants.
I love reading memoirs all while in my head I try to correlate news media and Hollywood gossip, it truly is interesting to get a celebrities side of the story even if of course I am pretty sure a lot is left out and I can respect that. I enjoyed his story and his telling of it. Luck has so much to do with fortune… but hems right that when lick presents itself one needs to be ready and willing to follow where it leads.
the second half of the book is more a telling if how much privilege allows one to grow. if he didn’t have the money he has -he’d never have been able to grow in the ways he has because he would not have been able to just take a month off and go to wherever.. hems have hd to stay and pack ice and just either get over it or stop thinking about it.. so yeah -‘money doesn’t make you happy - but it sure pays the bills while you’re figuring yourself out..

SO GOOD!!

I love Will Smith anyway, partially due to the clean way he rose to stardom and partly for his talents, but now I just really want to hang out with him. He has such a wisdom about him that has come from years of working on himself; to get himself to a better place, to serve those around him in a better way, to be the real Will. AND THAT IS COOL.

Do not be turned away by his ego. It is part of the experience. Keep on…

Also, I loved the end…it was perfect. This is a MUST LISTEN. As much as I wish I had the hard copy book in hand to underline and make notes in, it would not have been the same as listening to his voice and impromptu musical interludes.… (more)
