I wish that other ppl would give trigger warnings. Here you go: Mother on daughter child abuse and anorexia and maybe cutting but I'm not sure because I stopped reading.

This was just... eh.

I wasn't too big a fan of Rupi Kaur's Milk and Honey either. I guess poetry novels just aren't for me.

This is exactly what I needed, all about empowerment and believing in yourself. Written beautifully and so eloquently, but packs in so much relatable content of the experience of being a woman in society. I’m really charmed by Lovelace’s writing style and the structure of these poems. Definitely will be re-reading this again.
