John Laing (1)

Considering that I actually won this book in a raffle at my Calligraphy Society, only yesterday, it's already proving very interesting. I've already scanned it cover to cover and it's given me a number of ideas for future projects. The black and white reproduction is not good, but in the publisher's defence, I suppose that a good many of the originals were of poor quality, due to age. Nevertheless It's a comprehensive volume covering a vast field of images.

Considering the price tag on this book it's a good deal. The print quality is poor (b/w) but it is quite a resource. Good for inspiration.
