With the younger of them, yes, enjoyed it very much. I think glad to have watched movie first because it was done very well, subtle and contextual and all. Action and special effects were not the focus tg. But it was *so* good, I do think I want to read the book, too.

Finally read the book. Did not remember at all that I had watched the movie (I'm guessing two years ago, maybe 3). The book is very much like a movie, tailored to the silver screen. Rather proud of itself for hitting all the buttons, playing all the tricks.… (more)
