It's a nice enough book. Just enough information to be vaguely useful. it's pretty, and the layout is nice, but it doesn't knock me off my rocker like I prefer a book to do. I'll be keeping it in the collection, but likely very rarely if ever referencing it. It's very beginner level basic.

This is a revision of an earlier work of same title. So far as I can see the revisions consist largely of reducing the format from coffee table size to standard trade paper back size. The author has also added material about the Pagan ritual year, with associated plants, and one page about working with moon energies. My objections to inadequate or dangerous material on medicinal uses still stands.

I only skimmed this. It is a lovely book, but the organization is poor, medical information is superficial and frighteningly insufficient in some cases. For instance, the author does not mention that Pennyroyal (Mamentha pulegium) is an abortificant. At the very least she should warn pregnant women or women who may be pregnant to avoid it. Oddly, she does not mention it as a flea repellent, one of the most common uses in modern time. Like others, this book has lovely pictures, but I cannot recommend it as a systematic guide to the use of herbs in any fashion.… (more)

The Encyclopedia of Angels, Spirit Guides, and Ascended Masters is a lively reference to "who's' "who" in the celestial realms. Angels lend comfort and strength in times of difficulty, bring our lofty goals down to earth, and set our spirits soaring toward the divine. No matter what spiritual path you travel, the angels are there to offer guidance and inspiration along the way.

This sourcebook is an excellent reference for the study of angels. I was very pleased with the material covered in this book, and feel that any reader will come away informed and entertained by its contents. This book has a description of Angels from top to bottom, and on every Angel you could think of presently. It's from A to Z Male to Female Angels and it gives a description of all Angels and what their purposes are. If you ever wondered how many Angels there are and what they do or how they became THIS is the book for you.… (more)
