Enjoyable, good characters, good storyline. Not all alien invasions involve flying saucers — some just show up on your doorstep. Surviving them can involve brains more than brawn, especially when you are the weakest opponent. And the biggest weapon can be the literal end of the world.

Good read in the beginning but with a limp and predictable ending.

A well done sequel to The Witches of Karres. They maintained the feel of the original book. Same strengths and weaknesses. A fun read, but not a book I'd recommend to my friends to rush out and read.

Too many gods! This would have made an excellent novella and a fun read. Some good funny tidbits as myths, history, and the present clash. As it is, I started fanning through it to its appropriately weird ending.
