I got about 30 pages into this and finally gave up. The constant use of exclamation points! Really got tiring!

Also the main character Sophie was a tstl heroine--a man grabs her in the middle of the night and she doesn't think she should SCREAM instead of succumbing to his advances (until he grabs her buttocks of course then she genteelly chides him thus forcing him to realize she's not a wench!)

Light, refreshing. Not too much angst or internal turmoil, most conflict is external.

I'm just not fond of prickly (borderline rude) heroines.
