Small octavo. Pictorial wrapper over stiff plain wrapper. First edition. Signed by the author in red pencil on the half title. Small chip at crown of wrapper spine, and tiny, early repair at toe, typical light use to wrapper and at overlap edges, but a very good copy.
A charming little book written in the 20s when such subjects were being opened up after the long freeze of Anglo-American Victorianism.
A well written biography of Casanova's later years.
