The continuation of the iconic Saw franchise.
Saw XI is an upcoming horror movie produced by Twisted Pictures for Lionsgate Films. It is the direct sequel of 2023's Saw X and serves as the eleventh entry into the celebrated Saw franchise which began in 2004 with the James Wan directed feature. The series has managed to earn over a whopping $1 billion at the worldwide box office throughout ten films, giving rise to not only two video games but also a theme park ride in England. Saw XI is directed by Kevin Greutert, who previously helmed Saw VI, Saw 3D, and Saw X.
Tobin Bell has appeared in every Saw installment except 2021's Spiral: From the Book of Saw, in which his character appeared in a photograph only. When discussing which characters may appear in the upcoming horror sequel with Dexerto, long-time producer Mark Burg hinted at the enthusiasm of actors who had previously featured in the series, stating "there are going to be a bunch of actors from the past who have already called wanting to know if they can come and be in the next movie since we’re going back in time." Shawnee Smith's character Amanda Young has also been included in every Saw entry except 2017's Jigsaw and Spiral.
