The Barug'qel Workshop Sky Raider, colloquially known as the Trespasser, is a transport aircraft employed by the Banished and other ex-Covenant raiders.[1]
Overview[edit]
Design details[edit]
The Trespasser is a large craft comparable in size to the Pelican, Spirit and Phantom dropships employed by the United Nations Space Command and Covenant, respectively. It is heavily armed and armoured, though features a transparent viewscreen (presumably the cockpit) at the craft's front. It is armed with a network of six twin heavy plasma cannons, with three mounted on both the left and right of the vehicle under the wings and intakes, allowing it to serve as a close-support gunship during hit-and-run raids.[1]
Development history[edit]
The Trespasser was comissioned by the Banished, with the design originating from the Barug'qel Workshop. Manufacture of the vehicle is conducted by Gethrog Armory - with the latter's extensive back-room dealings allowing for the design to have proliferated outside the ranks of the Banished.[1]
Usage[edit]
The Trespasser is deployed as a raiding craft by its operators, using its network of plasma cannons to quickly overwhelm enemy defenses before deploying up to thirty warriors from its side-mounted doors. Outside the Banished, the Trespasser has become a popular mainstay for other Jiralhanae nomadic packs and even Kig-Yar pirate crews.[1]
