Five Wonderful Writing Conference Surprises

What a treat it was to see so many people at CANSCAIP’s 40th Packaging Your Imagination conference recently — people I hadn’t seen since before the pandemic. I’ve found other KV novels very powerful but this one just didn’t move me as it has, clearly, many other readers. For me it felt as if the characters were created to explain why pretending to be Indigenous is bad, unlike in The Break and The Stranger ...more
