Father of three sons, his professions have included naval officer, English teacher, coach, camp counselor, small business operator and commercial real estate broker.. He is an instrument-rated Private Pilot, holds a Master’s license for sailing, has authored biographies and histories of local interest, magazine articles and poems, and has served as president and board member of a number of civic organizations. As a boy I was able to hear my father and his friends sitting around having a drink and talking--the Irish call it a "craic." In that setting the one who has a story and wants the ear of the others has to begin it with an attention grabbing remark. And then he or she has to hold that attention until the tale is told. While I doubt Dr Waymack let too much truth stand in the way of good stories, his accounts are priceless and mainly to be believed. You'll not hear these tales anywhere else about real medicine. And be thankful not being a Soviet . ☺
