Yes, it's been some time since I last posted and I cannot believe so many months have passed! C'est la vie!

An okay read.
The story is good and I was entertained but there were also a few missteps.
It's unclear, to least to me, who the protagonist is. It could be one of 4 or even 5. Two of the possibilities, the youngest, are dumb as posts! I'm talking unbel

The expression, 'never judge a book by it's cover' must have been coined by someone who was in a book store and glanced at this cover. It's perhaps the worst cover I have ever seen and thank goodness I took a chance and brought it home.

My first look at Peter Treymayne's work.
I enjoyed the book and the slow revealing of the perpetrators and their motivations.

Great fast and fun read and very well written back stories that all come together quite nice

I'm not much for reading prologues or introductions as I find them annoying and usually boring and irrelevant. Just get on with the book already!
The prologue to Back Sun Rising Book 1 is no exception and in fact would have stopped me from reading the

The version I read clocked in at 693 pages.
693 pages of some of the best writing I have had the pleasure of reading.
And that's all I'm going to say on this review.
Do yourself a favour and dig into this ancient world right away - you won't be sorry.
