Only three months ago, Alexandria lost her father and it shook her life to the core. Now Alexandria is ready to start college and hopes the sorrow that constantly follows her around will lesson. Her cousin setup her place to live, filling in where he used to be and Alexandra is excited about the new start. Of course her cousin never told her that Ellie was actually Elijah and he is tattooed, smoking, and everything a fantasy man should be.

Elijah doesn't date, he has been burnt once before and has no plans in reliving again. When he finds out Alex is really Alexandria, everything changes. Problem is Alex is too good for him and she is dating someone from home. As the roommates become friends, both are wishing for something more but neither are willing to discuss the nature of their feelings.

I loved this book, it was sweet, sad, romantic, and mesmerizing. Both Alex and Elijah are still healing and there is a level of intimacy with that they share and no one else can. I thought the pacing was perfect and was enchanted throughout.
