You always have such insightful reviews and either have me going I don't want to read this book. Or you have me wanting to read this book. Depending on whether it is a good or bad review.

Girls should be sweet, boys should be tough, all problems can be solved with violence, etc etc.
Racism, sexism, homophobia, the usual stuff.

I'm always interested in finding new kidly readings for my littlies. Can I ask, what age is your child that you would recommend this for?
This seems like a fun book for the niece. Her parents are all about girl power without being a jerk about it. This could be right up their alley. Will definitely throw the title to them and see what they think.
I was partial to pick up this book, and went here to see if people would recommend it. Now, the first thing I see is a review from Patrick Rothfuss himself, and I just know I don't even need to read his review, I'm just gonna love this book :D
Dominion by Shane Arbuthnott is a fun mg adventure with a female main character (and other female characters in high positions) and it's never made a big deal. I highly recommend it, especially if you enjoyed this book.
