Unfortunately, a DNF for me. There wasn't really a problem. I liked the characters and the idea for the story. I liked how vivid the descriptions were. But, I just couldn't get into it. I think this is more my problem that any problem with the book. It just wan't a good fit for me. Since I didn't finish, I won't rate it. But, it wasn't my kind of book :(

SOMEHOW, I finished this book... it was just BAD though. I love love love fantasy, but this book was a disappointment.

That's a shame :( I really like fantasy as well, but this fantasy wasn't to my taste. If you want a great fantasy read, though, you should check out Grave Mercy or Witchstruck. Both of those were awesome :)

Loved Grave Mercy! I have an ARC of Witchstruck, but probably won't get to it. I'm going to read Ryan Graudin's All That Glows... hopefully, that one is much better than this book, considering that they both have to do with faeries. I shall see!
