If it’s got L. Steele’s name penned, it’s an automatic read. I love the banter between the Beast and KellyAssistant, I’m still smiling. This was a feel-good read and another automatic buy of the physical book to add to my library!

Zero angst, no ow/om drama. Slow burn, with lots of chemistry.

This is book three in the Davenport series and overall, the storyline between the FMC and MMC is fantastic. This story reminds me a great deal of my relationship with my husband, we were twin flames/soul mates who knew within moments of meeting each other that we were fated to be together.

This couple was adorable, their story sweet. Knox is a blend of beast, dominant, supportive, golden retriever. June is a combination of naïve, sweet, innocent, strong. They each have their own struggles with issues from abandonment to self-worth, from inadequacy to self-doubt. Knox didn’t think it was in his cards to find someone who could love him, his scars and his inner darkness but June is his perfect partner in every way. It was heart-warming to watch their love for one another grow deeper throughout the story.

If you’re new to L. Steele, her books are considered standalone – but you’ll see characters from previous books and to get the absolute best experience you should really read them all if you can…The Big Bad Billionaires, The Sovranos and the Morally Grey Series!

I would 10/10 recommend this read, you won’t be disappointed.

I’ll be patiently waiting for book four of The Davenports, gimmie some Ryot!
