I liked Vesper as a main character, but I feel like I've read this story before. The pacing was pretty good and there were occasional moments of humor so it was easy to stick with it.
Also, I finally realized that Rachel Harrison and Kim Harrison aren't the same author (when I tell you I'm not good with names, I mean it).

I always got Rachel and Kim confused too. Lol! Especially when I read all of Kims books for years, then picked up Rachels and now read all of hers. I've got to stop and think. Lol

I read Doppelganger by Naomi Klein in which she talks at length about how people mix her up with Naomi Wolf and how some people send her hate on account of it, at least we can take comfort in the fact that we are not alone and that we're not hating on the wrong person just thinking that Kim Harrison is a writing powerhouse 😅
