Mad About You (Laurel Heights, #9)

I've loved all of the Laurel Heights books that I've read so far, so I'm sad that I had to struggle with this one.
I liked Scott and his no-nonsense way that he went about meeting Julie. And I liked Julie, from knowing her from Sophie's story, and I even liked Elise's and Alexis' interactions with both Scott and Julie, but I never felt any connection at all with the other featured couple in the book. I felt nothing at all for "Bull" and Josephine and actually dreaded when the chapters focused on their story.
I try to read my series in order, but I've been out of whack with Laurel Heights. I've already read book #10, so I know the series does get back on track for me so I'll definitely go back and read the few others that I've missed along the way and will hopefully will enjoy them more than I did this one.
